IPEN is keen to work with national permaculture associations and other organisations to put in place curriculum guides that are appropriate to the climate and culture of their country, that may cover the essential topics to be covered by courses, other topics that might be covered, and other information regarding how courses are best taught, for example through practicals and design exercises.
For example, curriculum guides might cover:
- Introduction to permaculture
- Applied Permaculture short course
- Permaculture Design Certificate
- Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design
- Permculture Teacher Training.
Please use the IPEN Resources page and use the Resource Category filter to find a range of useful Permaculture Curriculum Resources, which we will add to over time.
Through our involvement in the Colab international permaculture collaborative laboratory’s Translation Circle, we are hoping to be able to work on translation of curriculum guides, with countries’ working out any appropriate adaptations to their cultural and climatic situations.
